Color Theory and Color Psychology

Hello Art Lovers!

This is my very first blog post as an artist.

I've created several paintings in the past and I have the feeling, that artworks containing the color red generate more "likes" on Social Media.

That's why I want to share some facts about the color red - right here in my brand new blog. ��

THE COLOR RED

Although it belongs to the family of warm colors, the color red remains the only hot color. The color of fire, it symbolizes passion, courage, energy, power - and of course - strength.

Red is one of the earliest colors used by artists during the prehistoric period.

If Red is your favovorite color, you are probably a passionate and energetic person who is not afraid of taking risks. You’re not only an extrovert, but you are also outgoing and love being the center of attention.

Red instantly attracts, makes people excited and increases the heart rate.

- Impulsive
